Kin Support Project

Kin Support is keeping families together and children out of Foster Care.  More and more children are being raised by a grandparent or other relative.  Our KIN Support prgram assists families with children who have lost a parent due to death, incarceration or their inability to parent.

In collaboration with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., Families First Kin Support Project educates and empowers grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings caring for a relative’s child by increasing their knowledge and use of community resources and legal services.

Program staff counsel on a wide variety of issues and concerns, which include obtaining economic benefits and health insurance.

• Counseling and support groups
• Healthcare information
• Financial guidance
