Bridges to Success
Bridges is a community based collaborative project between
Adopt-A-Family and Families First. The project focuses on providing permanent housing with supportive services to families in the Glades. The program serves families affected by HIV, chronic mental illness and/or a substance abuse history that impacts their ability to achieve successful independent living. Comprehensive social work services will be provided to secure appropriate linkages with mainstream and community based providers supporting family self-sufficiency.
Services Include:
- Achieving stable and permanent housing
- Mastery of life skills that lead to successful outcomes
- Increased hope and determination that families can thrive versus merely surviving
