Billing/Data Specialist

 Billing/Data Specialist to join our team in the Behavioral Health Services Department.  Some of the responsibilities for this position include:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provision and oversight of data entry for Behavioral Health Services, including:

  1. screening intakes for the program and logging these referrals into the data base
  2. creating data reports and tracking outcomes
  3. setting up and maintaining client data base
  4. assures all office work is completed in a timely and professional manner
  5. assures all computer work is completed in a timely and professional manner
  6. prepares billing logs for fiscal
  7. assists other data entry and administrative staff with data entry and technology
  8. performs other related duties as assigned.

To be considered, candidates should:

  1. possess a High School Diploma
  2. have knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
  3. have the ability to operate and have knowledge of computers and other electronic instruments available to the agency
  4. have extensive knowledge of various computer software programs, especially Microsoft Office programs including Word, Power Point and advanced Excel skills such as: formulas, filters, macros, vlookups, etc.
  5. use of business English, spelling, record keeping
  6. knowledge of and sensitivity to service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics demonstrate ability to deal successfully with clients served by the agency

Case Manager – Targeted Outreach For Pregnant Women (TOPWA)

Families First is recruiting for the full time position of HIV/AIDS Case Manager for our TOPWA (Targeted Outreach for Pregnant Woman Act) Program. The client base will be pregnant HIV + moms residing in Palm Beach County, including the Glades and Pahokee areas.

SUMMARY:

The case manager will perform comprehensive case management to HIV + pregnant moms in Palm Beach County. This position is responsible for providing integrated and continual care treatment. The case manager must also stay in constant contact with the perinatal services division at Florida Health.  The case manager will connect HIV + pregnant moms to both health and social services, required to maintain stability for the HIV + mom and family.  The goal is to ensure that HIV transmission does not occur between baby and mom during pregnancy or through delivery. The case manager will conduct outreach, home visits, and follow-ups accordingly, prenatally and post, ensuring compliance with medical care and treatment plans. The case manager will then report the findings confidentially and accordingly and is also expected to attend community related HIV/AIDS events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bi-lingual required; specifically Creole/ Tri-lingual preferred (Creole and Spanish)
  • Proficient in the written and oral use of English
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • BA/BS in Social Work or equivalent degree in related field
  • Minimum two to three years related experience

Accounting Clerk

Employment Type: Full Time

Immediate opening for an experienced  Accounting Clerk,.

Description: responsibilities include: deposits, accounts payable, accounts receivable and all duties and reports associated with these procedures, as well as some administrative duties.
